Michael King is the owner of King Law Office. Mr. King has practiced law in the same office since receiving his Doctorate of Jurisprudence, with honors, from Mississippi College School of Law in 2000. Mr. King has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Michael King was admitted to practice law by the Tennessee Supreme Court in 2000 and the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee in 2001. In 2010, Mr. King was appointed by the Tennessee Supreme Court to serve as a member of the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility. Between 2014 and 2016, he served as Chairman of the Board. In 2018, Mr. King became a Tennessee Supreme Court listed Rule 31 Civil and Family Mediator. In 2022, Michael King was elected General Sessions and Juvenile Court Judge for Carroll County, Tennessee. Since his judicial position is part-time, Mr. King is allowed to continue his practice of representing clients in civil litigation in the Circuit Courts and Chancery Courts of Tennessee.
Michael King focuses his practice on representing individuals in the areas of personal injury litigation, wrongful death, contract disputes, and wills & estates. Mr. King also serves as general counsel to several public entities, including municipalities, public utilities, housing authorities, and school districts.
Michael King was named the 2009 and 2012 Readers' Choice Best Attorney by the Carroll County News Leader. Mr. King is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, Tennessee Association of School Board Attorneys, Tennessee Municipal Attorneys Association, and Carroll County Bar Association.

Judge King cannot discuss any matters pending in the Carroll County General Sessions Court or Carroll County Juvenile Court.
